Cybermen Marching Into 2018

Hey.  I'm back!

So in 2017, I painted a grand total of 4 miniatures.  Pathetic.  However, I never stopped wanting to get back to the painting table.  So here we are in 2018 and I'm hoping to get back to my very modest goal of posting a newly painted miniature at least once a month.

For my first post of the year, I bring you a batch of Cybermen from Warlord Games' Exterminate! (Into the Time Vortex) Doctor Who Miniatures Game.

Because there are 12 of these mechanical monstrosities, this was more of a speed-painting kind of thing than how I normally paint.  I mostly play RPG and skirmish games, so I've never actually painted this many figures at once before.   Anyway, they painted up quickly and I'm happy enough with them to move on to the Daleks which should be coming soon.

Here they are marching forward with their cybermats and wondering where their enemies might be:

Should be back soon, not only with Daleks but a few other things I've got in the works.  Stay Tuned.

  1. Great stuff, xredmenacex and great to see someone else painting up "Warlord Games" "Doctor Who" minis - they're excellent minis imho, and you've done a tip top job on them too :-)

    2. Yeah I haven't done any DW stuff in a while myself, I should get back to it... I'll do at least one this year XD

  2. A good start to the year! Cybermen are a great speed painting opportunity, it's not too hard to crank out a bunch of them since they don't have any variation. But a squad of them are pretty intimidating looking.

Now that's a goal I can get behind! I'm not sure if I can pull it off myself but I'd really like to :) I always enjoy your work; keep your brushes wet and let's see what you've got to show us :D
